Beyond the Horizon (12" x 12 ")

Originals are signed by artist, acrylic on tissue paper painting on gallery cradle board or canvas.

Mixed Media: Artwork created by combining two or more different materials or techniques—such as acrylic, collage, ink, texture, and other elements—to create depth, dimension and visual interest. In my work, I combine acrylic paint on tissue paper,  watercolour, collage and other techniques allowing the materials to interact and create unique layers, textures and effects.

What is a cradle board?

A cradle board is a rigid, flat art panel made from wood, typically with thick, solid edges that give it extra strength and stability.

Unlike a traditional canvas, it doesn’t require a separate frame and is less likely to warp. Cradle boards can be used with acrylic, mixed media, collage and other techniques.
